3-day Samburu flying safari

We will collect you from your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to the domestic, Wilson Airport for your morning flight. You'll board your flight to Samburu Reserve, north of Mount Kenya flying time approx. 1.5 hrs. Upon arrival, you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your overnight lodge by the lodge’s driver guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle. You'll check into your accommodation and have some leisure time before a delicious lunch in the lodge’s dining area. You'll proceed for a safari game drive late afternoon during which you explore the surrounding parts of the Samburu and see its amazing wildlife. (The safari vehicle may carry other guests from the lodge). You'll return to the lodge by evening in time for dinner. Accommodation| Ashnil Samburu camp Meals| dinner

Today, you have an early rise for your estimated morning safari game drive during which you will see more of the Samburu’s wildlife. Early morning, and late afternoon are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active. You'll return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast —the rest of the morning at leisure. The lodge has a swimming pool and also offers a variety of add-on activities, such as nature walks (some optional activities are at an extra cost). After the sumptuous lunch, you'll take a late afternoon safari game drive before returning to the lodge by evening (typically 6 pm) in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the lodge, followed by dinner. You'll enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. You'll return to the lodge in time for a quick breakfast. You'll proceed to check out and bid farewell to Samburu —as you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi [(flying time approx. 1.5 hours).
