Day 1. Arrival Rwanda
You'll arrive at Kigali International Airport, where your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to relax and enjoy the vibrant Rwandan capital or explore some nearby sites. Kigali, known for its cleanliness and scenic hills, is a pleasant introduction to your safari adventure. Your overnight stay will be in Kigali.

Day 2. Volcano National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on a guided tour of Kigali, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Museum, which offers a somber but important insight into Rwanda’s history. Afterward, you will explore a local market, where you can buy handcrafted goods and experience the daily life of Rwandans. In the afternoon, you'll drive to Musanze (formerly Ruhengeri), a picturesque town nestled near Volcanoes National Park. Your overnight stay will be at a lodge in Musanze (Full Board, FB).

Day 3. Gorilla Trekking
In the morning, you will head to the park entrance to start your biggest day of this trip, and this will take you to the greatest adventure of a lifetime. Volcano National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is known for being one of the only places with a good population of the remaining mountain gorillas. This remote, beautiful park offers an incredible opportunity to encounter these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. You'll settle into your designated group and let your ranger introduce you to man's closest ape, an experience you will have for the rest of your life.

Day 4. Departure
On your final day, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast before your transfer to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you will have the opportunity for a brief city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving and educational experience. Before your departure, you'll enjoy a farewell dinner at the iconic Hôtel des Mille Collines, where you will have a partial stay until your airport transfer. This marks the end of your unforgettable East African adventure.
