Day 1.Arrival in Kigali Rwanda

Arrive in Kigali, the city of infinite hills and plush greenery. Drive in the direction of the Volcanoes National Park and immerse yourself in Ibilwachu loosely meaning “our way of life,’’ and be surprised by Rwanda’s resilient culture. Savor coffee made from the beans you roasted while indulging with the locals. Check into your accommodation, offering unmatched wilderness immersion, a sustainably luxurious rainforest-based lodge offering Africa’s most thrilling wild jungle experience. Day 2. Volcano National Park

Enjoy a scrumptious early morning breakfast and head out for your trek through the park’s dense vegetation in search of families of mountain gorillas. The park is the residence of around 500 endangered mountain gorillas, about half of the world’s total wild population, and served as the base for the groundbreaking work of primatologist Dian Fossey, portrayed in the evocative book and film Gorillas in the Mist. Your experienced trackers use their knowledge of the gorillas’ habits to locate their whereabouts. Upon sighting the gorillas, you stay with them for a magical hour as they go about their daily lives feeding, playing, resting and raising their young. Afterward, drive back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, relax and cool off on a Tour Sokoni private canoe sail accompanied by an experienced guide, gliding down the gentle Mukungwa River flow, which runs through the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes. Take in impressive views of the soaring volcanic cones in the distance, spot abundant birds, look out for the otters and meet some friendly locals along the way. To cap off your adventure, pull up on a bank for a refreshing sunset, watching the sun slip behind the majestic peaks, as you sip at your favorite beverage.
