Day 1. Arrival in Entebbe

Day 2.Transfer to Murchsion falls

Depart from Entebbe and Fly to Chobe Airstrip to your two-day residence at Nile Safari Lodge. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views, at a location that has been graced by famous visitors like Queen Elizabeth, the author; Ernest Hemingway, president Theodore Roosevelt, Winston Churchill among others. Day 3.Full day Murchison

After an early breakfast, set out on a game drive along the northern banks of the Nile in the heart of Murchison Falls National Park where you may see Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, oribi, elephants, warthogs, leopards, lions and antelopes. This afternoon, embark on a boat cruise to the base of the falls, watching for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and birds along the river’s banks. Day 4. Transfer to Kibale

Following a healthy breakfast, you’ll depart to Kibaale where you will be introduced to Kyaninga Lodge, your residence for the next two days. Later you will take an optional walk to Bunyangabu Crater. Accommodation| Kyaninga meals| breakfast, lunch & dinner

Day 5.Chimp trekking

Today, visit Kibale forest, home to over 11 species of primates, a rich bird life of close to 370 species and an array of butterflies. After breakfast, we will advance for our chimpanzee trek, traversing the eternally surreal Ituri Rainforest. Watch the tailends chimpanzees dissipate into the forests as they sense a human presence along the trail. Later in the afternoon, you may go on a guided primate walk in the Bigodi Forest swamp. Day 6.Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

Explore the scenic beauty of the Ndali Kasenda crater family that boasts of lush vegetation and clear water basins born of varied volcanic eruptions. This breath-taking scenery is only rivaled by the sound of baboon grunts and a choiresque bird symphony. Day 7.Full day Queen Elizabeth

Enjoy a day of game drives through Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to elephants, lions, hippos, buffalo and baboons. You may also sight some of Uganda’s largest elephant herds. Day 8.Full day Queen

Enjoy another day at Queen Elizabeth National Park, traversing the famous Ishasha region, home to the tree-climbing lions, a sight seldom seen anywhere else in Africa. Known for Blue Lake, the Bat and Hunter’s Cave, this area is also a mating ground for the Uganda Kob, bats, rock python and forest cobras that devour bats. Day 9.Transfer to Bwindi

Set out for a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. Make your way out of the Rift Valley through the Kigezi Highlands and on to the mountains of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later today, tour the Uganda Nursing School Bwindi, a project supported by Tour Sokoni Philanthropy, meeting the teachers who are empowering the next generation of this remote region’s health care workers. Day 10.Gorilla trekking

Spend the day tracking endangered mountain gorillas, spending close to two hours among them. See mothers keeping infants close as they knuckle walk on three limbs. Watch scampering toddlers reined in by an attentive father, who takes his job as protector of the family, quite personally. The distinct behaviour of a mountain gorilla in the wild will demonstrate the bond that exists between primate and man — and not escaping the poignant fact these creatures lie on the brink of extinction. Day 11.Transfer to lake Bunyonyi

Take a long drive to an area that translates to ‘lake of many little birds’ in the local dialects. With just 1.3 kilometres away from the shores of the lake, enjoy a scenic view of the lake Bunyonyi beautifully encased with hills and all in a relaxed enchanted environment. Day 13.Transfer to lake Mburo

Today, we drive to Lake Mburo National Park, traversing rocky ridges and forested gorges, narrow bands of lush and riparian woodland. Enjoy the hidden treasures of the park, including intimate encounters with close to 68 mammal species. Day 14.Transfer to Entebbe
