ARRIVE IN ENTEBBE, UGANDA
Upon arrival in Entebbe, you are met by a Tour Sokoni representative and transferred to your tranquil hotel fronting Africa’s largest lake. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.
TRANSFER TO KIBAALE
Fly to the Kasese airstrip and transfer to your permanent tented campsite in the crater region of Fort Portal. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you explore the historical crater lakes and tea plantations of the region with the mountain of the
moon set high in the clouds. Have a relaxed evening at the lodge.
CHIMPANZEE ENCOUNTER
With an early hot breakfast, we pack our lunch boxes and set off to Kanyanchu briefing point in Kibale forest national park for a fascinating encounter with the human’s closest relatives. It’s a half day trek as you monitor behaviors of the
chimpanzees right from their nests, feeding and grooming their young ones. Enjoy a lazy lunch and head to Queen Elizabeth national park. Enjoy a lazy evening at the camp.
FLIGHT TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL FOREST PARK
It’s a day into the African savannah as we trace the whereabouts of the Lion King among other predators like Leopards and hyenas. We shall then have a fascinating boat cruise along the Majestic Kazinga channel, very famous for beautiful bird life and many savannah animals sighted on the bank quenching their thirst. With an early hot lunch, we head southwards to the impenetrable forest of Bwindi’s majestic mountain gorillas.
GORILLA ENCOUNTER
Today, trek through the park’s dense vegetation, traveling up and down its steep slopes in search of the resident mountain gorillas. Your guides use their experience, knowledge of the gorillas’ habits and information from the previous day to locate them. Once the gorillas are spotted, observe their subtle social interactions, remarkable behavior closely resembling our own.
FLIGHT TO ENTEBBE
Enjoy a scenic flight from the Kihihi airstrip back to Entebbe, where a reserved dayroom awaits for you. Later, transfer to the airport for your international departure.

After a tour of the children’s ward and maternity wing, meet the local nursing school’s students and explore their learning lab, gaining insights into their training and inspiring personal goals.

Visit with the students and staff of Ebenezer Primary School, learning how the local community has partnered with Tour Sokoni Philanthropy to provide a safe learning environment for the local children.
